In January 2021, 27 countries of the European Union purchased oil and petroleum oils from Turkmenistan in the amount of 41.4 million euros, Trend reports, referring to the European Statistical Agency.

In 2020, Turkmen oil products were purchased by the EU countries in the amount of 194.5 million euros, the agency reports. In particular, it is noted that in January-November of last year, the EU countries imported 270 thousand 900 tons of oil, petroleum products and oils from Turkmenistan.
