 Issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres were discussed on Thursday at an online meeting between Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov with State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan Kiyoshi Ejima, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.

 The sides especially emphasized the role of the activities of the Turkmen-Japanese and Japanese-Turkmen committees for economic cooperation, where the results of the work carried out were considered in detail, including the need to accelerate the implementation of the agreements reached earlier.

 The tasks identified in the Roadmap for Cooperation in the Field of Infrastructure, the development of green energy, and the intensification of business and scientific contacts were highlighted as priority priorities.

 The positive experience of interaction with Japanese partners in the field of investment and gas chemistry, Japanese manufacturers of industrial technology was emphasized. In this context, the parties expressed their readiness for further close cooperation with the Japanese bank JBIC, large corporations such as Sumitomo, Itochu Corporation, etc.
