44 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit") for foreign currency, as well as liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the State Concerns "Turkmennebit", "Turkmengas" and "Turkmenchemistry".
Flannel products, Portland cement and thick licorice root extract were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 32 million 994 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn, cotton lint, as well as polypropylene, base oil, petroleum road bitumen, packaging film (SC "Turkmennebit") and technical carbon (SC "Turkmenchemistry"). The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 78 million 158 thousand manats.
