Today, June 17, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov left for a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Central Asia-China Summit in Astana, TDH reports.
The head of state was seen off by officials of our country at the international airport of the capital.
After some time, the plane of the head of state landed at the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport in Astana. Here, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov and other officials, as well as members of the delegation of our country.
In the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan, great importance is attached to the development of bilateral and multilateral relations with the People's Republic of China. A striking example of this is the participation of Turkmenistan in the second Summit in the Central Asia-China format.
As is known, the first summit of this format was held in May 2023 in Xi'an, China. The President of Turkmenistan, speaking at the Summit, put forward a number of proposals for the further development of interregional cooperation in various areas through coordination of efforts.
