Turkmenistan celebrates Science Day on June 12. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the scientific community of our country, as well as to the participants of the International Scientific Conference “Science, Technology and Innovative Technologies in the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state“, which started in Ashgabat.

“All our achievements are inextricably linked with science, and therefore, I am confident that the international scientific conference dedicated to Science Day will provide scientists with an excellent opportunity to exchange advanced developments in the field of science and technology”, the congratulatory message of the head of state says.

“We attach great importance to the accelerated development of the scientific system as an integral part of the national economy, as well as the intensification of scientific and technological development. In this regard, special attention is paid to the comprehensive training of young, talented specialists, engineers, technologists and scientists. We send our scientists to leading foreign centers to improve their qualifications and conduct scientific research, and also facilitate their participation in international research programs”, the President noted.

In his congratulatory message, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the state pays “special attention to fundamental theoretical and applied research by scientists from research institutes, higher education institutions, scientific and technological, scientific and clinical and scientific and design centers, regarding the development of high technologies and innovations that are competitive, waste-free, environmentally friendly and economically viable. For the same purpose, based on the “Strategy for the Development of Science in Turkmenistan for 2024-2052”, priority areas for the creation of high technologies are consistently improved”.

“Promising work on the integrated use of scientific, intellectual, industrial and commercial opportunities in the field of technology development is successfully continuing. These measures will open new horizons for bringing independent neutral Turkmenistan to higher levels of development”, the President noted.

“Thanks to this, scientific and technical cooperation with leading scientific and educational centers of the countries of the Far East, the Asia-Pacific region, the Middle and Near East, Europe and America, as well as with international and regional organizations, is reaching a new level”, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.
