The government meeting summed up the results of the oil and gas sector for January-May 2025

On July 4, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where the results of the work carried out in the country for the first five months of this year were summed up, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of the work done in the oil and gas sector for January-May 2025.

As reported, during the reporting period, the State Concern “Turkmennebit” fulfilled the oil production plan at the level of 109 percent.

The oil refining plan was fulfilled by 108 percent, gasoline production - by 102.8 percent, diesel fuel - by 101.2 percent, lubricating oils - by 121.1 percent. The growth rate of liquefied gas production was ensured at the level of 102.2 percent.

It was also noted that the plan for the production of natural and associated gas for the period under review was fulfilled at 102.5 percent.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of consistent modernization of production activities, further widespread introduction of modern technologies in order to systematically increase the potential of the oil and gas complex.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to monitor the ongoing work to increase oil and natural gas production.
