On Monday, May 19, a telephone conversation took place between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, TDH reports.
Hero-Arkadag and the UAE Vice President noted with satisfaction the high level of expanding Turkmen-Emirati relations based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the great prospects for the further development of bilateral trade and economic partnership, as evidenced by the annual increase in trade turnover indicators.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan noted the positive practice of constructive cooperation with leading UAE companies developed over many years. In this context, the emphasis was placed on the economic significance of the recently signed documents.
We are talking about the Agreement between the State Concern “Turkmennebit”, PETRONAS Çarigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE), as well as the Agreement between the State Concern “Turkmengas”, PETRONAS Çarigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia) and ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited (UAE).
Hero-Arkadag expressed confidence that these Agreements will contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation.
During the telephone conversation, upcoming joint and other projects were also discussed.
The Vice President of the UAE noted that the important agreements reached are a clear example of the rapidly growing interstate cooperation in various areas, in particular, in the fuel and energy sector, and expressed his sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
