On the agenda: the policy of the "green world"

On May 10, 2025, the International Conference entitled "Heydar Aliyev - Energy Diplomacy: Unity for the Sake of a "Green" World" was held at the capital's Yildiz Hotel.
The forum, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Turkmenistan, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, ambassadors of a number of countries, representatives of the UN and other international organizations.
Opening the conference, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Gozalov in his speech spoke about the great successes achieved by Azerbaijan in the economy, industry, science and education, culture during the leadership of the country by former President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. He also emphasized the achievements of his country in the field of exploration and drilling, production of oil and gas products and their export to foreign countries.
The forum also widely covered the topic of reducing methane emissions, climate change, and the "green world" policy.
The conference was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov, ambassadors of the Republic of Turkey, the Republic of Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Georgia, as well as representatives of the companies "Eni" and "Chalik Energy".
At the end of the conference, music by famous composers was performed and a festive sadaqah was given.
