31 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased petroleum road bitumen, lighting kerosene, and base oil produced by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" for foreign currency. Representatives of Afghanistan also purchased sodium chloride and liquefied gas produced at the technological units of the State Concerns "Turkmenchemistry" and "Turkmengas", respectively.Cotton yarn was also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: UAE, Kyrgyzstan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded 4 million 579 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, local businessmen purchased petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit"), plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton yarn and fabric worth over 88 million manats.
