Gas workers of the «Turkmengazburawlayysh» Department of the State Concern «Turkmengas» successfully carried out drilling operations at production and appraisal wells located at fields in the Mary region, and obtained an industrially significant inflow of natural gas from production and appraisal well No. 03 at the Yilan field.
When drilling this well, gas workers of the «Turkmengazburawlayysh» Department reached a depth of 2875 meters. Thanks to state support and accumulated rich experience, drillers managed to obtain a powerful inflow of natural gas from a productive formation at a depth of between 2847 and 2844 meters.
This significant labor success was the result of several months of coordinated work by drillers. The clean, hydrogen sulfide-free composition of natural gas obtained from the well is a key feature of the "blue fuel" of this field.
According to experts, the development and evaluation well produces 740 thousand cubic meters of natural gas daily. Its clean composition indicates that the quality of the "blue fuel" fully complies with world standards. Experts believe that the products of this gas well will have high economic benefits.
"Each of our drillers made a significant contribution to the successful execution of drilling operations at the well. Particularly noteworthy is the work of sixth-grade driller Hojadurdy Geldiyev, assistant drillers Hankula Begenjov and Kuvvat Ammedov, diesel operator Ajajan Gurbanov and others," says the head of the drilling rig Arslan Meredov.
Gas workers of the «Turkmengazburawlayysh» Administration strive to mark the current year — the Year of International Peace and Trust — with outstanding labor achievements, and actively continue drilling production wells at the Galkynysh gas field. High-tech equipment purchased at the initiative of the esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov from leading manufacturers in developed countries is widely used in these works.
