The government meeting summed up the results of the work of the fuel and energy complex for the first quarter of 2025

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 5 on the digital system, at which the results of the work performed in the country were summed up for three months of this year, according to TDH.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of activities in the oil and gas sector for January-March 2025. Thus, for the reporting period, the implementation of the oil production plan by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" amounted to 107.1 percent.

As reported, the oil refining plan was executed by 107.1 percent, for gasoline production - 102 percent, diesel fuel - by 100.8 percent, polypropylene - by 100.1 percent, lubricating oils - by 100.4 percent. The growth rate of liquefied gas production was ensured at 117.9 percent. It was also reported that during the period under review, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was made by 104.8 percent.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of carrying out and further work aimed at increasing oil and natural gas production, as well as a consistent increase in hydrocarbon exports.

It is necessary to effectively use the existing production facilities of the complex, continue drilling exploration wells in the corresponding areas within the country, the head of state noted, addressing a number of instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
