Let me extend my cordial congratulations on the beginning of work of International online conference “Stable Cooperation in Energy Sphere – Important Condition of Global Development”! The forum, which is dedicated to constructive energy diplomacy of our country, has started its work in its capital, the city of Ashgabat on the threshold of the celebration of the 25th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan in the year, which is held under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”.

Today, fuel and energy industry is one of priority directions of development of national economy. Our country, which holds the fourth place in the world by reserves of natural gas, implements major projects, which are aimed at development oil, gas and industrial branches. The online conference will give an opportunity to businessmen to study the strategy of development of fuel and energy complex of our country, practice of the partnership, active introduction of modern technologies and further modernization of the industry.

Turkmenistan regularly put petrochemical complexes processing natural gas and making products, which are on high demand in the world market, into operation. Based on scientific achievements and advanced practice, and using latest technologies, personnel of petroleum industry develop new deposits in locations with difficult access from geological point of view, where our masters drill deep wells and produce fuel.

Exploration and development of resource deposits is carried out owing to hard work of Turkmen oil and gas industry personnel and geologists. Applying latest technologies, they make deep drilling and development of wells, arrange the production, which meets the world standards and make new products. The energy strategy of our country, which has rich deposits of hydrocarbon resources, is aimed at comprehensive development of fuel and energy complex and steadfast integration of Turkmenistan into global energy system. Creation of multi-vector gas pipeline system, diversification of supply routes of Turkmen energy resources to the world markets are important directions of development of the sphere.

Our country continuously intensifies cooperation in energy sphere with European, Asian, Far East and South East regions, actively develops partnership with the leading oil and gas companies of the world and competent financial structures.

The state also carries out relative work for rapid development of oil and gas deposits by attraction of foreign investments. Work for exploration and expansion of new fields, development of different layers at existing deposits, drilling of new wells at the cost of investments are carried out together with foreign companies. We use our natural resources not only in the interest of our people but also for entire humankind, for the sake of its future.

Today, Turkmenistan is not limited by production and export of energy resources to foreign states but also increases the volumes of export of petrochemical production, which is on high demand in the world market.

We pays special attention to processing of natural gas and make of new products. Relative work is carried out in this direction according to the programs adopted in the last years. We plan to build number of petrochemical complexes and plants soon. In the future, implementation of such regional and global projects in fuel and energy sphere will be one of important aspects of the policy of our state.

At present time, the construction of transnational Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas line is carried out at high rates. Implementation of this large-scale project will not be limited by the strengthening of economic potential of participating states only but also will make positive effect on development of other countries in the world.

I am confident that this international online conference will be very important for exchange of practice between Turkmen businessmen and foreign partners, for establishment of further wide cooperation and discussion of beneficial project.

Once again, let me extend my congratulations on the beginning of work of International online conference “Stable Cooperation in Energy Sphere – Important Condition of Global Development”, which is organized in the year under slogan “Turkmenistan – Home of Neutrality”!
