Turkmenistan remains the largest supplier of pipeline gas to China.  It is reported by Interfax with reference to the General Administration of Customs of China.

By the volume of pipeline natural gas sold in the Chinese market, Turkmenistan is the largest supplier.  In 2019, Turkmengaz State Concern delivered 31.2 billion cubic meters of gas to China.  In April of this year, the supply level was 69 million cubic meters per day, the report said.

In addition to the Turkmen “blue fuel”, the Celestial Empire buys pipeline natural gas from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Myanmar.
