President instructed to increase the effectiveness of geological exploration work of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”

 Last Friday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which important issues of state life were discussed and drafts of a number of documents were considered.

 During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the fuel and energy complex and on the measures taken to further improve the material and technical base of the supervised structures, in particular, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”.

 Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that ensuring stable productive activity in the oil and gas sector is directly related to the modernization of its infrastructure on an innovative basis, the introduction of modern resource-saving technologies into the industry.

 The head of state instructed to continue comprehensive work on the accelerated industrial development of new promising areas, as well as to increase the effectiveness of exploration work of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”, addressing a number of specific instructions in this regard.
