During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers last Friday, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the new composition of the government. The Head of State reinstated the Vice-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, who resigned after the inauguration of the new President in accordance with the Constitution of the country.
Muhammetguly Mukhammedov, who has experience in senior positions in finance, has been appointed to the position of Vice-Chairman for Economic, Banking and International Financial Organizations, which was previously held by Serdar Berdimuhamedov himself.
Having reinstated the members of the government, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that they have rich experience necessary for the further socio-economic development of the country in the new era and wished them success in their work.
Expressing gratitude for the high confidence placed in them, the vice-premiers assured that they would make every effort for the further successful work of the supervised areas.
The President instructed the vice-premiers to propose candidates for the positions of heads of departments they supervise within a week.
