 The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went on a working visit to China on Tuesday to participate in the III High-Level Forum “One Belt, One Road”.  TDH reported this today.

 At the Capital Airport in Beijing, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was met by officials of the People’s Republic of China and Turkmenistan.

 The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan will take part in the III High-Level Forum “One Belt, One Road” and will hold negotiations with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the news agency writes.

 Turkmen-Chinese interaction is long-term in nature and is built in full accordance with the Joint Declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership signed by the two countries.  Following the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to China and his negotiations with Chinese President Xi Jinping in January 2023, it was announced that the level of relations between the two countries would be upgraded to a comprehensive strategic partnership.

 “One Belt, One Road” is an international initiative of China to improve existing and create new trade and transport corridors connecting more than 60 countries of Central Asia, Europe and Africa, which is designed to promote the development of trade relations between them and China.
