On September 11, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the results of the work of industry enterprises for eight months of the current year, held under the motto “The Year of Happy Youth with Arkadagly Serdar.”
During the meeting, the tasks set for the country’s oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, held on September 8, dedicated to the results of the activities of all sectors of the economy, were discussed, and specific ways to further advance work in this direction were discussed.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov especially emphasized that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development based on modern achievements, the state creates all conditions, modernizes production facilities, introduces innovative technologies, which in turn the queue determines the specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.
During the meeting, speeches were made by the State Minister – Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmengas” Maksat Babayev, Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” Guvanch Agadjanov, Chairman of the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” Gurbangeldy Garlyev, head of the department for the implementation of the TAPI project Berdigylych Charyev, as well as heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex, which reported on the work done during the reporting period and announced tasks for the near future.
The speeches included information on the production of oil, gas condensate and liquefied gas in the country, the development of international cooperation, the widespread use of a digital system in the activities of the complex, the intensification of work on the development of the Galkynysh gas field, focusing on the construction of the international gas pipeline TAPI, ensuring uninterrupted functioning of production facilities regardless of weather conditions, increasing oil and gas production rates, accelerating the pace of construction work, as well as in other equally relevant areas.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of constant monitoring of major projects being implemented in the country’s oil and gas complex, the widespread introduction of modern technologies into the work of the industry, timely and high-quality implementation of production plans and a consistent increase in the level of professional training and qualifications of specialists, wishing the employees of the State Concerns “Turkmengas” “ and “Turkmennebit”, the State Corporation “Turkmengeology” great labor successes in the implementation of the assigned tasks for the development of the oil and gas industry.
Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on oil and gas issues Ashirguly Begliev also took part in the meeting.
Global demand for oil will grow until 2028, – IEA
