The government meeting reviewed the results of the fuel and energy complex for eight months

 Last Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system.  The agenda included the results of the work done over the eight months of this year, current tasks of the country’s socio-economic development and drafts of a number of documents.

 Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the results of the work of oil and gas industry enterprises over the past eight months.  In this context, technical and economic indicators for the production of oil, gas condensate and natural gas were reported.

 During the indicated period, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled at the level of 109.3 percent, for the export of “blue fuel” – at 114.4 percent.

 The State Concern ”Türkmennebit” fulfilled the plan for oil supply amounted to 100.4 percent, for oil refining – 100.8 percent, for the production of gasoline – 103.3 percent, diesel fuel – 104.1 percent, lubricating oils – 111.8 percent,  liquefied gas – 111.7 percent.  Polypropylene production figures were also reported.

 The indicator for the development of investments from all sources of financing for the period under review amounted to 111.5 percent.

 Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to take the necessary measures to maintain the stability of the financial and economic state of the oil and gas complex, improve its production activities, further strengthen the material and technical base and ensure the operation of industry facilities at full capacity and without interruptions.

 Noting the importance of efficient exploration and drilling in oil and gas fields, the head of state also focused on the issue of diversifying the export potential of the fuel and energy complex, addressing the Vice-Chairman in this regard with relevant instructions.
