Turkmenistan and the International Exhibitions Bureau are ready to expand cooperation

Secretary General of the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) Dmitry Kerkentzes highly appreciated relations with Turkmenistan and expressed readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation in international exhibition activities. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports this.
Kerkentzes stated this at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who visited Paris on an official visit on September 4-5.
During the meeting, the interlocutor was informed about plans for the implementation of the Concept for the development of international exhibition activities of Turkmenistan for 2024-2025, which was approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in August 2023.
The parties emphasized the importance of exhibition activities in the development of trade and economic relations and foreign economic relations, as well as strengthening the economic potential of the country and exchanged views on the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the BIE.
Rashid Meredov also noted that currently preparations are underway in Turkmenistan for the participation of the Turkmen side in the International Exhibition “Expo – 2023 Doha” in Qatar, as well as in the World Exhibition “Expo-2025 Osaka” in Japan in 2025.
Global demand for oil will grow until 2028, – IEA
