Turkmenistan at the UN General Assembly will propose to adopt a resolution on reliable energy mobility

At the regular session of the UN General Assembly Turkmenistan will take the initiative to adopt a resolution on stable, sustainable and reliable energy mobility. This proposal is included in the priority positions of Turkmenistan at the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
“In view of the growing crisis phenomena in the supply of energy resources to the world markets, instability in the relations of suppliers, transitors and consumers, Turkmenistan will propose to consider the possibility of adopting a resolution of the UN General Assembly “Stable, sustainable and reliable energy mobility, and its key role in sustainable development,” the MFA publication claimed.It is noted that “the draft resolution provides for the possibility of holding the International Forum “Sustainable Energy for All” in 2025 in order to promote global efforts to ensure access to inexpensive, reliable, sustainable and modern energy sources, And also to sum up the results of the Decade of Sustainable Energy of the UN, 2014-2024.“Turkmenistan attaches special importance to energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. We are ready to cooperate with stakeholders in the context of the development and implementation of energy-saving technologies, as well as the development of renewable energy sources,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
