Turkmenistan implements measures to increase the level of oil production

Last Friday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which issues of the country’s socio-economic development and drafts of some documents were considered.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the state of affairs in the area under his supervision, in particular, at the enterprises of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.
It was reported on the ongoing measures to increase the level of oil production and efficient development of oil wells through further modernization of the industry infrastructure and the introduction of advanced energy-saving technologies into practice.
Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the priorities of the energy policy of Turkmenistan. Noting the importance of rational use of the richest natural resources, production and scientific and technical potential of the oil and gas sector for sustainable growth and expansion of export opportunities of the national economy in order to improve the well-being of the people, the head of state gave relevant instructions to the Vice-Chairman.
Global demand for oil will grow until 2028, – IEA
The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts in a June report that global oil demand will reach 105.7 million bpd in 2028, up 5.9 million bpd from 2022 levels.
