Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov named the main topics on the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty

 Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov named six priority aspects for preparing the agenda for the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan on September 24, TDH reports.

 Speaking at the meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslakhaty held on Tuesday, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that in preparation for the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty in September, it is necessary to carefully analyze the economic and financial indicators of the sectors of the national economy, identifying six priority areas in this regard.

 Firstly, speaking about the need to review the mechanisms of public-private cooperation, the creation of joint-stock companies, the improvement of the securities market, the stock exchange, the activation of the private sector, the provision of additional guarantees to shareholders to reduce risks, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty emphasized the importance of preparing proposals in the field of  investment, migration policy of the country, ensuring a stable exchange rate of the national manat, streamlining money circulation.

 Secondly, taking into account the widespread introduction of information and communication technologies in all spheres of society, it is necessary to consider the use of new methods and technologies in the educational process, training and advanced training of specialists, including in the most popular areas.

 Thirdly, it is necessary to continue improving the priority areas of state policy, namely, the healthcare system and the medical industry, as well as those related to ensuring food safety, the quality of medicines, Hero-Arkadag said.

 Fourth, it is necessary to prepare proposals for the innovative development and modernization of industrial sectors of the economy, in particular, the oil and gas, chemical, construction, energy, and textile industries, improve their work, as well as improve the investment, legal, and economic climate.

Fifth, speaking about the need for further development of the agro-industrial complex, ensuring food security, modernizing the work of processing industries and introducing waste-free technologies, food storage systems, improving property relations in the agro-industrial complex, creating export-oriented industries, as well as the socio-economic transformation of rural areas,  Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of preparing proposals for the effective management of the industry, increasing the capabilities of commodity producers, and resolving issues in the field of seed production, land and water management.

 Sixthly, noting that Turkmenistan is known throughout the world as a rapidly developing state in which peace and prosperity reign, Hero-Arkadag stressed that proposals should be prepared to expand fruitful cooperation with foreign countries and international organizations, study and widely implement their experience.

 One of the main tasks is to provide the President of Turkmenistan with reports and information on the work of the sectors of the economy, the development of promising proposals based on their analysis in order to further develop the state and society, the head of the Halk Maslakhaty emphasized.
