The working visit of the Hero-Arkadag to Iran at the invitation of President Seyed Raisi began

 Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for the Islamic Republic of Iran on a working visit, TDH reported on Tuesday.

 Having made a flight to Tehran, the airliner of the head of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan landed at the International Airport of the capital of Iran, where Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was met by Iranian officials and members of the Turkmen delegation.

 Here, Hero-Arkadag had a conversation with Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Barzpash, during which the interlocutors stated that cooperation, which is successfully developing in various fields, is based on the principles of equality, mutual respect and mutual benefit.

 It was also noted that the necessary efforts will be made to further intensify the main areas of mutually beneficial relations, and confidence was expressed in the further successful development of Turkmen-Iranian cooperation.

 Earlier, Iranian President Seyed Raisi, in a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, invited Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to visit his country to discuss various vectors of cooperation in the political, economic and cultural spheres.  At the same time, the head of Iran mentioned the comprehensive expansion of cooperation between the two countries in international and bilateral formats, mainly in transit, in water and energy sectors, an example of which is the recent increase in gas transit through Iran.
