In this context, the subject of detailed discussion was the prospects for the formation of a transport route in the direction of Tajikistan-Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Turkey, as well as the possibility of organizing multimodal cargo transportation between China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan with access to the seaports of the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea.

Speaking about the development of cooperation in the field of transport, the interlocutors also noted the relevance of the organization of direct and transit aviation communications between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan. Having stated the high performance of the state visit of the Turkmen delegation to Tajikistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that both sides will have to do a great job of implementing the provisions of bilateral documents signed on the basis of negotiations at the top and at the level government delegations.
