State visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan begins

 President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived on Wednesday on a two-day state visit to Tajikistan, following the talks, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents, TDH reports today.

 The state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan is intended to become an important milestone in the history of centuries-old Turkmen-Tajik relations based on the age-old, indestructible traditions of brotherhood and mutually beneficial cooperation, the news agency notes.

 As part of the visit, the head of Turkmenistan will hold a high-level meeting in a narrow and expanded format.  As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents.

 The visit of the President of Turkmenistan was preceded by the Turkmen-Tajik business forum organized on May 8 in Dushanbe, as well as a number of other events.
