On Friday, negotiations began in Beijing between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who arrived in China on a state visit the day before, and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, TDH reports.
After the solemn welcoming ceremony, the leaders of the two friendly countries hold a meeting in an expanded composition of delegations.
The subject of discussion at the highest level is the possibility of increasing cooperation in such strategic areas as the trade and economic sphere, the fuel and energy sector, the chemical industry, transport, communications, agriculture, etc.
After negotiations in an expanded composition of delegations, the meeting will continue in a narrow format.
Following the talks between the heads of the two states, it is planned to sign a large package of bilateral documents.
