Erdogan: Turkish natural gas reserves in the Black Sea increased to 710 billion cubic meters

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Turkey’s natural gas reserves in the Black Sea are 710 billion cubic meters, Interfax reports citing the Anadolu agency.

"Our natural gas reserves in the Black Sea increased by 170 billion cubic meters, reaching a total of 710 billion cubic meters," the agency quoted.

According to him, this figure was achieved when it became known that the Fatih drilling vessel discovered natural gas reserves of 58 billion cubic meters in the Chaijum-1 field at a depth of 3023 meters.
