Today, a reporting meeting was held in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, at which the results of the work of the industry enterprises for January-September of the current year, held under the motto "Epoch of people with Arkadag", were discussed.
At the reporting meeting, important aspects of the implementation of the tasks were considered, as well as specific directions for the development of the country's oil and gas complex, set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on October 10, where the results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for the nine months of this year were summed up.
At the meeting, chaired by the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Abdrakhmanov, the State Minister - Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" B. Amanov, Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" G. Agadzhanov, Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" M. Roziev, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the complex.
During the meeting, the results of the work over the past nine months were announced in the context of the implementation of the Program for the development of the country's oil and gas industry for the period up to 2030. Speakers noted the efficient use of production capacities of oil and gas enterprises, emphasized the importance of discovering new deposits of hydrocarbon resources by strengthening the material and technical base of the industry and introducing modern technologies. They also discussed measures aimed at intensifying activities for the deep processing of oil and natural gas, increasing the volume of products to use at full capacity and ensure the uninterrupted operation of fuel and energy enterprises.
It was also noted about the progress in the construction of the transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, about the preparations for the XXVII International Conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan", which will be held on October 26-27 in Ashgabat, about the implementation of measures to prepare for the upcoming winter period.
At the end of the meeting, Vice-Chairman Sh. Abdyrakhmanov wished success to the participants in achieving high performance in the implementation of the tasks set for the oil and gas industry in the year of celebrating the 27th anniversary of permanent neutrality, as well as the professional holiday of the day of workers in the oil and gas industry and geology of Turkmenistan.
