Serdar Berdimuhamedov: the implementation of programs aimed at ensuring a high standard of living of the people will continue

 Turkmenistan will continue to work on the successful implementation of programs aimed at ensuring a high standard of living for the people.  This was announced on Tuesday by the newly elected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at an expanded meeting of the government and the State Security Council of Turkmenistan.

 During the meeting, the head of the Central Election Commission announced the results of voting in the presidential elections held on March 12, as a result of which candidate Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who received 72.97% of the votes, was recognized as the elected President of Turkmenistan.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov assured the audience and all Turkmen citizens that he would use all his strength, abilities, knowledge and experience to justify the high trust placed in him.

 Addressing fellow citizens, Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that at the new historical stage of the country's development, there are big tasks that were detailed in the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052 adopted in February 2022 at the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh (Upper House of Parliament).

 In this regard, the newly elected President noted the tremendous work carried out by the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to strengthen the economic power of neutral Turkmenistan and increase its international prestige.

 Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that the course of development formed over the 30-year period of independence of our country will be continued, as well as the initiated transformations in the political, economic, socio-cultural spheres will be carried out, measures will be taken to successfully implement programs aimed at ensuring a high standard of living for the native people  .

 The newly elected President also stressed that work will be carried out aimed at ensuring peace and security of independent neutral Turkmenistan, promoting the triumph of peace and mutual understanding on the planet, as well as the prosperity of the Fatherland and ensuring a prosperous and happy life for the people.

 The solemn ceremony of the inauguration of the newly elected President of Turkmenistan will be held on March 19 at the Oguzhan Palace Complex.
