Products of TCOR and «Turkmengas» sold at the auction

 137 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

 Entrepreneurs from Switzerland, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan purchased aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, polypropylene, fuel oil, base oil produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries for foreign currency.  Vacuum gasoil produced at the Seydi Refinery became the subject of deals for businessmen from Hong Kong.  Liquefied gas (SC «Turkmengas») was purchased by representatives of business circles of the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan.

 Also, cotton yarn was sold for foreign currency.  Buyer countries: Russia and Turkey.

 The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 44 million US dollars.

 Businessmen from Turkey bought cotton yarn worth about 4 million manats for manats.

 For the domestic market, local businessmen purchased high-density polypropylene (SC «Turkmenchemistry»), as well as polypropylene, base oil, petroleum bitumen, paraffin slack produced at the Turkmen Oil Refinery, and handmade carpets for a total amount of about 117 million manats.

Preparations for the implementation of energy projects discussed at talks in Islamabad

The issues of practical implementation of the projects of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline and the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan (TAP) power transmission lines were discussed in Islamabad by the delegation of Turkmenistan, which, on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is on a working visit to Pakistan on January 31 – February 4, informs the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
