Among the sent humanitarian cargo to Afghanistan – 20 tanks with oil products

On Tuesday, a humanitarian cargo with food, textile and household products, as well as oil products was delivered from Turkmenistan to neighboring Afghanistan, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
During an expanded government meeting held on December 10, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed an order to send humanitarian cargo to Afghanistan. This document was signed “in order to continue, on a systematic and regular basis, assistance and comprehensive support to neighboring Afghanistan in the economic, social and humanitarian spheres,” the decree says.
In accordance with the document, the Turkmen side provided the delivery of humanitarian aid to the fraternal Afghan people, which consists of 1,200 tons of cargo for various purposes, in particular, textile products, food products, as well as 20 railroad tank cars of oil products produced in Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan systematically provides all-round support in the socio-economic revival of the neighboring country, and also invariably comes out from the standpoint of resolving the situation in Afghanistan exclusively by peaceful political and diplomatic means.
