TCOR expands the range of manufactured import-substituting products

Vice-Chairman Shakhym Abdrakhmanov reported on the expansion of types of import-substituting products produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries on Tuesday during a government meeting.
In particular, it was noted that the range of new products was supplemented by semi-synthetic lubricating motor oils under the brands Turkmenoil Advance 5W-40 and Turkmenoil Premium 5W-40, as well as fuel for ships, aluminum-reinforced polypropylene microfilm.
Having listened to the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that the fuel and energy complex is one of the priority vectors of development of the national economy. The key aspect of the ongoing fundamental transformations in this area is the effective use of the potential of the oil and gas industry.
Today, Turkmenistan is not limited only to the production and supply of energy resources to foreign countries, but from year to year it increases the volume of exports of products that are in high demand on world markets. At the same time, great importance is attached to the processing of natural gas and the production of new products, the head of state emphasized, ordering to use the potential of representatives of the non-state sector, to more actively involve them in this work.
The Vice-Chairman was instructed to keep the issues of practical implementation of the outlined plans in the center of constant attention.
