Industry meeting summed up the results of the fuel and energy complex for January-October

Today in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, a reporting meeting was held, at which the results of the work of enterprises in the industry for ten months of this anniversary year were discussed.

At the meeting, important aspects of the implementation of the priority tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in the format of digital video communication on November 5, were considered, at which the results for the period January-October were summed up and priority tasks for the near future were identified, as well as the progress  implementation of programs for the socio-economic development of the country.

At the reporting meeting, which was chaired by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh.Abdrakhmanov, State Minister – Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» B. Amanov, Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmennebit» G. Baigeldyev, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» M. Rozyev,  General Director of TCOR D. Chishiev, as well as heads of departments and enterprises of the oil and gas complex.

During the meeting, specific instructions from the President were noted on the need to increase the economic indicators of all industrial structures of the fuel and energy complex, and to increase the volume of oil and gas production.

In particular, they discussed the existing opportunities for expanding the range of high-quality competitive products produced from hydrocarbons, which are in demand in the domestic and foreign markets, for which it is necessary to optimally use the potential of the processing sector of the fuel and energy complex.

During the meeting, tasks were also identified for the construction of new processing facilities, the development of new oil and gas fields.  It was also noted that the construction of the strategically important transnational pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) is proceeding in accordance with the established plan.

Concluding the meeting, Sh. Abdrakhmanov noted that among the priority tasks for workers in the oil and gas complex is the timely implementation of the President's instructions on the development of the industry.  Wishing all the participants great success in achieving their goals, the Vice-Chairman mentioned the significant role of the oil and gas industry in the economy of our country.

The reconstruction of the gas pipeline in Mary region is underway
