Turkmenistan’s oil refining industry plays a vital role in ensuring sustainable growth of the national economy. Products from the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) of the Türkmennebit State Concern are increasingly popular in international markets. The high-quality oil and petrochemical products, manufactured at the complex, enjoy consistently great demand in global markets.

Today, the enterprise is equipped with cutting-edge technologies and high-capacity facilities, enabling it to continuously increase its supply volumes, fully meeting high international quality standards.

The team at Kenar, the main petroleum product storage and shipping facility, makes a significant contribution to these achievements. Since the beginning of the year, this facility has achieved impressive results: over 1,890,000 tons of petroleum products have been shipped to domestic and international consumers, of which over 372,000 tons have been exported. The facility has created all the necessary conditions for transporting a wide range of products, including aviation kerosene, motor gasoline, diesel fuel and high-grade lubricants.

In recent years, Kenar’s infrastructure has undergone extensive technical modernization. An automated railway loading and unloading platform for light petroleum products with an annual capacity of 3.85 million tons was commissioned. The process is fully automated: tank loading, weighing on electronic scales and document processing occur in a single digital cycle.

A unique vapor recovery system prevents the loss of over 300 tons of gasoline annually and reliably protects the environment. Furthermore, a new marine berth, No. 3, was built in collaboration with the British company Petro Gas LLP. It is capable of handling millions of tons of raw materials and finished products annually, using advanced equipment from the USA, Germany and the Netherlands.

Autonomous pumping and transformer stations guarantee the continuity of all processes, and the installation of TS-1 filters on the jet fuel pipeline ensures maximal flight safety.
