Turkmenistan to host the TIF 2026 International Investment Forum in October

Preparations have begun in Turkmenistan for the International Investment Forum 2026 (TIF 2026) to be held in Ashgabat on October 1-2, 2026.
The forum, organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in partnership with Turkmen Congress, will be a key platform for developing investment cooperation and making decisions aimed at practical implementation.
The business program will cover energy and petrochemicals, transport corridors (including the Caspian region and the Middle Corridor), the digital economy, green projects, agro-industrial complex, tourism and water resources. Special attention will be paid to artificial intelligence in the economy: a panel discussion will bring together experts to discuss how technology is changing the country’s investment landscape.
Participants will participate in direct meetings with government officials, a practical seminar on the legal and financial aspects of project implementation and a networking with international investors.

In the Balkan region, a key region in the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan, it is planned to increase natural gas production to 11 billion cubic meters per year by 2025.
