The Nebitdag Drilling Department is working ahead of schedule

The Nebitdag Drilling Department of the Nebitgazburavlaysh Trust of the Turkmennebit State Concern has been working ahead of schedule since the beginning of 2026.

According to the management plan, 7,191 meters were to be drilled and construction work on four wells to be completed and commissioned in the first five months of this year. However, 7,387 meters were actually drilled, achieving 102.7 percent of the target.

Currently, this department is drilling production wells at the Nebitdag, Goturdepe, Barsagelmes, Demirgazyk Goturdepe, Gunbatar Goturdepe, Gundogar Cheleken, and Mydar oil and gas fields using 12 powerful Chinese-made drilling rigs (ZJ-70 DS, ZJ-30T, HJ-750, and HJ-450).

Four wells, at the Nebitdag, Gunbatar Goturdepe, Demirgazyk Goturdepe, and Mydar fields, have been completed, with the plan fulfilled 100 percent.

Preparatory work has also been completed at well No. 90, with a design depth of 3,600 meters, in the Gundogar Cheleken field, which belongs to the Hazarnebit oil and gas production department. Drilling rig installation has been completed at well No. 32, with a design depth of 2,000 meters, in the Mydar field, which belongs to the Yashyldepe oil and gas production department. Rig installation is underway at drilling rig No. 400 in the Gundogar Demirgazyk field. Drilling operations are progressing successfully at seven wells in the Barsagelmes, Goturdepe, and Mydar oil and gas fields.

The professional specialists of the State Concern Turkmennebit are working diligently to successfully complete the year "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Determined Winged Horses”. The drillers of the Nebitdag Drilling Department have made a significant contribution to this.

The Nebitdag Drilling Department, part of the Nebitgazburavlaysh Trust, which is part of the main enterprises of the State Concern Turkmennebit, was established in 1971. June 1 of this year marked the 55th anniversary of its founding.
