The units of the State Concern Turkmennebit operating in the Balkan Region demonstrated high efficiency in the development and operation of oil and gas fields in the first quarter of this year.
Specialists from the Nebitgazduypliabatlayysh Trust made a significant contribution to this result, focusing on restoring wells with reduced production. Since the beginning of the year, 110 such wells have been overhauled and returned to operation, six exceeding the planned targets.
Thanks to the timely commissioning of the repaired wells, oil producers received approximately 24,000 tons of additional oil. As a result, the production plan was fulfilled by 105.8 percent, and the production growth rate was an impressive 161.7 percent. These indicators confirm the effectiveness of the applied workover technologies and the professionalism of the engineering and technical personnel.
Excellent results were also achieved in natural gas production. Over the three months, the additional gas production amounted to approximately 28,000 cubic meters, more than double the planned growth rate.
The teams of the Goturdepe, Barsagelmez, and Gamyshlyja well workover departments made the most significant contribution to achieving these record figures. Their coordinated work ensures the sustainable development of the country's energy sector, according to the Turkmenistan Information Center.
