32 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased base oil produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmennebit for foreign currency. Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased ECO-93 gasoline produced by the State Concern Turkmenchemistry.

Wheat flour, cotton yarn, and raw and non-distilled fatty acids from cotton soapstock were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included the UAE, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.

The total value of the transactions exceeded USD 57,883,000.

Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene, base oil, and packaging film (Turkmennebit), as well as cotton yarn and fabric, for a total of 61 million 120 thousand manats for the domestic market.
