Twenty-nine transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene and base oil produced at the processing facilities of the SC Turkmennebit, as well as liquefied gas produced by the SC Turkmengas, using foreign currency.

Textiles, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, dyed fabrics, and denim were also sold for foreign currency. The purchasing countries were the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, and Azerbaijan.

The total transaction value exceeded $13,889,000.

Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene, base oil, and packaging film (Turkmennebit) for the domestic market. The total transaction value exceeded 26,251,000 manats.
