Gasoline production rates in Turkmenistan are steadily increasing. This is evidenced by the 122.7% fulfillment of the country's gasoline production plan for January-February 2026.

The high growth rates in this sector are directly linked to the efficiency of oil refineries, as well as the natural gas gasoline plant in the Ahal region. Their effective operation, in turn, is due to the exceeding of oil and gas production plans.

In particular, in the first two months of this year, the oil production plan for the State Concern Turkmennebit was fulfilled by 107.3%. The oil refining plan at oil refineries was fulfilled by 107.1%. The plan for diesel fuel production was fulfilled by 106.4%, lubricating oils by 102.7%, liquefied gas by 119.7%, and natural and associated gas production by 106.7%.

Detailed information on this was presented in a report by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Guvanch Agajanov at a recent government meeting, which also discussed the results of efforts to increase oil and gas production and expand export routes to global markets in January-February.
