Government meeting summarized the fuel and energy sector's performance for January-February 2026

On March 6, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to summarize the country's work for the first two months of this year, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the work completed in January-February of this year, with the aim of increasing oil and gas production and expanding supply routes to global markets.

As noted, the State Concern Turkmennebit fulfilled its oil production plan by 107.3 percent.

During the period under review, the plan for oil refining at oil refineries was fulfilled at 107.1 percent, gasoline production at 122.7 percent, diesel fuel at 106.4 percent, lubricants at 102.7 percent, liquefied gas at 119.7 percent, and natural and associated gas production at 106.7 percent.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of taking comprehensive measures to increase hydrocarbon production. The head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to effectively utilize existing production capacities in the oil and gas sector and explore new mineral reserves.
