A gala meeting dedicated to International Women's Day was held at the Center for Public Organizations. Representatives from the oil, gas, geological, construction, and business sectors, as well as workers in the automobile and road sectors, participated.

The celebratory event was jointly organized by the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Workers, and other industry organizations.

The speeches noted the steadily growing role of women in the modern Turkmen state and society. Particular attention was paid to Turkmenistan's state policy towards women.

Today, thanks to the comprehensive support of the state and society, women make a significant contribution to the country's prosperity. Turkmen women are well represented in government bodies - legislative, executive, and judicial - and are also actively involved in foreign policy and successfully developing entrepreneurship.

As emphasized, the women of our country express their sincere gratitude for the state's constant care for them, for the conditions created in the country for family well-being and the upbringing of the younger generation, and address their thanks to Hero-Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar.

During the celebratory event, artists from the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern Turkmengas performed songs dedicated to the mothers and girls of Turkmenistan.
