About 70 foreign companies and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the "Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan" forum and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (UIET) exhibition, which will be held in Ashgabat on March 18. This was announced during a Cabinet of Ministers meeting chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the digital system on February 27.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev reported on the progress of preparations for the exhibition, which is timed to coincide with the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as the international forum "Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan," TDH reports.

As noted, approximately 70 foreign companies and international organizations have currently registered to participate in these events. Registration for participants is ongoing. Turkmen delegates to the forum will include representatives of relevant ministries and industry agencies, as well as members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the country attaches great importance to developing the private sector and improving entrepreneurial activity. The head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure a high-quality exhibition to mark the 18th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, as well as the international forum "Investing in the Future of Turkmenistan”.
