Turkmengas, Turkmennebit, and BASF Intertrade AG are ready to expand mutually beneficial ties

On February 23, a meeting was held in Ashgabat between the heads of the state concerns Turkmengas and Turkmennebit and V. Nikitin, Head of Business Development at BASF Intertrade AG, a German subsidiary of BASF Group, headquartered in Switzerland, TDH reports.
Important areas of bilateral relations were discussed. The parties expressed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial ties and their keen interest in deepening cooperation in the oil and gas industry.
After reviewing the implementation of previously reached agreements and focusing on the current state of affairs, the meeting participants discussed prospects for developing relations on issues of mutual interest. The parties outlined mutually beneficial proposals and expressed confidence that their consideration will contribute to the implementation of their plans for the near future.
BASF is actively involved in regional projects in Turkmenistan. For example, the company's gas cleaning equipment was selected for the new gas chemical complex in Kiyanly. The company can also provide technical support and consulting services if needed.
During the meeting, the parties discussed relevant issues and exchanged views on the feasibility of expanding work and developing cooperation in this area.
