During the Turkish Export Goods Exhibition held in Ashgabat from February 10-12, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev met with Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat, the Turkmenistan International Information Center reports.
The main topic of discussion was the creation of new business opportunities and the intensification of direct business contacts between the two countries. The parties reached agreements to organize joint investment forums, specialized exhibitions, and bilateral business meetings to stimulate entrepreneurial activity.
During the talks, they reaffirmed their commitment to developing a strategic partnership in all key economic sectors, including trade, energy, transport, joint investments, and others.
The meeting participants focused on the dynamics of trade relations and the indicators achieved. It was noted that by the end of 2025, bilateral trade will reach $2.2 billion. The parties expressed their firm intention to continue working together with the goal of increasing this figure to $5 billion in the near future.
Omer Bolat emphasized that the Turkish side is committed to the comprehensive development of cooperation, building on the historical ties and high export potential of the two countries.
