On February 4, a meeting was held in Abu Dhabi between Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the status and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade, and economic spheres were discussed.

The parties focused on intensifying efforts to implement large-scale joint projects in the energy, transport, and logistics sectors. In this context, the advisability of developing an economic cooperation program between Turkmenistan and the UAE was emphasized.

The parties also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
