A roundtable discussion was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas (Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas) dedicated to the 2026 motto, «Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds».
As the speakers emphasized, the declaration of 2026 as the year of "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Steeds" was a historic event in the socio-political life of Turkmenistan.
It was noted that this year's motto takes on special significance as we celebrate the glorious 35th anniversary of the country's independence. It embodies respect for national values and the strategic directions for the further development of the Fatherland, reflecting the lofty goals of the Turkmen people and their confidence in the path of progress.
The image of a swift steed symbolizes national pride, strength, and the people's desire for development. This motto, in harmony with the high spirit, speed, and loyalty of the horse, embodies the continuity of the national development path.
The roundtable participants emphasized that the successes achieved over the years of independence in all sectors, including the oil and gas industry, are a clear result of the creative work of our people. Based on the legal status of permanent neutrality, the current domestic and foreign policies serve as a solid foundation for further economic growth, expanded international cooperation, and improved well-being of the people of Turkmenistan.

An industrial flow of natural gas was obtained from a well drilled by the team of the Lebapnebitgazgözleg Expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation at Tachmuradov site. This will be a worthy gift from the united team of the Expedition for the forthcoming large-scale holiday – the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.

Since the beginning of 2025, the “Nebitgazchykarysh” Trust of the State Concern “Turkmennebit” has produced 1 million 278 thousand 817 tons of "black gold". Much of the credit for this goes to the drillers of the “Nebitgazburawlayysh” Trust, who have drilled 57 thousand 246 meters of production wells and 16 thousand 51 meters of exploratory wells since the beginning of the year.
