The President of Turkmenistan approved a proposal to modernize the infrastructure of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries

On January 16, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means. A number of state matters were on the agenda, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures being taken to modernize the infrastructure of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of the State Concern Turkmennebit.
As reported, the Kenar Oil Storage and Loading Facility operates as a key structural unit of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for the reception, storage, and shipment of petroleum products to consumers.
Significant modernization of the facility will optimize the reception, storage, and shipment of refined products for subsequent transportation, and significantly increase the country's transport and logistics potential.
A corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective development of the oil refining industry in line with the realities of the times, which, among other things, helps maintain the reliability of petroleum product supplies to consumers. Having approved the proposal for the modernization of the Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery Complex of the State Concern Turkmennebit, the head of state ordered the necessary measures to be taken.
