The Workover Department of the Nebitgazduypliabatlayysh Trust, part of the State Concern Turkmennebit, effectively maintains the uninterrupted operation of oil wells at Turkmenistan's largest fields.
The department's workover crews perform underground and overhaul workovers at the Goturdepe, Barsagelmez, and Gamyshlyja fields, which daily supply the country's fuel and energy complex with hundreds of thousands of tons of oil and large volumes of gas.
Modern equipment is used during workovers, including a J-650 hoisting rig with a lifting capacity of 80 to 120 tons. The use of flexible tubing significantly reduces workover times and increases well throughput. The rigs also clean out deposits and flush out sand plugs in the wellbore zone.
The Nebitgazduypliabatlayysh Trust's flexible tubing well workover department plays a leading role in maintaining production. For his contribution to ensuring efficient hydrocarbon production, the department's head, Abdylla Bayrammamedov, was awarded the Turkmenistan Jubilee Medal “For the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality”.
