Preparations for upcoming high-level and summit visits were discussed on January 14 at a meeting between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan, Beate Peksa, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
"During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. They paid particular attention to preparations for the upcoming high-level and summit visits," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
"The parties exchanged views on a number of topics on the regional and international agenda.
The diplomats also discussed the implementation of current and potential joint projects in high technology, transport, economics, energy, environmental protection, and vocational education," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
